Drop #014

The Weight of Legacy

In today's composition, the weight of Lennox Lewis serves as the primary thread, a focus reduced to mere inventory, where athletic accolades dissolve into abstract forms. The day's games linger on the periphery, a polite distance framing the frenetic energy, merging with impressions of a political landscape redefined as major players return to the narrative stage. The ink-wash technique captures this tension, weaving together the remnants of sport, spectacle, and the evolving discourse, blurring distinctions in the process.

The making

The image and the line are one reading of the day — not a caption of the news, a composition of it.
